Alcoa, Inc. - Contract Employee

HP-UX administration, including MC/ServiceGuard on 10.20, 11.0, and 11i. Installation included SAN storage allocation on DEC/Compaq/HP StorageWorks. Integrated UNIX applications with VAX VMS and WinNT. Installed PHP development tools and developed the communications protocol for the rollout of Best Transport, which saved Alcoa over $100k in shipping costs in a single quarter. Wrote a workflow system for request tracking supporting hundreds of users which dramatically simplified SOX reporting. Have installed and administered web servers from Netscape, Apache, CERN, and NCSA. Extensive experience with HTML. Have developed Java applets with the Java AWT.
